Thenjiswa Mbewu, CA(SA)

Thenji is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in audit, finance, and risk management across both the public and private sectors. She is an acknowledged authority in financial risk management, known for creating measurable value within organisations through strong governance, disciplined financial controls, and strategic insight. Her professional experience includes auditing and advisory work for leading institutions such as Standard Bank, Peregrine Capital, Sasria SOC, and the National Department of Defence.

Matlhogonolo Mogapi

Matlhogonolo has been in the accounting profession since 2010 when she started her articles with KPMG, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2012. At KPMG, she had oversight of audits in financial services and also provided advisory services within the technical accounting department. Post articles, she worked at Absa Capital from 2013 to 2014 as an Accountant. Thereafter, she joined Stanlib as Pricing Manager responsible for regulatory and financial reporting of all the firm’s unit trusts.

In her capacity as Executive Director of the Bagaka Group, Matlhogonolo is responsible for strategy and business development. Her passion lies in impact investing and integration of sustainability in business models.

Naledi Magampa

Naledi Magampa has extensive experience in research and analysis, with a strong focus on delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. She brings a rigorous and methodical approach to research, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform advisory engagements.

She is responsible for conducting in-depth market, industry, and policy research to support advisory projects and strategic initiatives. Her interests include economic research, sector analysis, and the integration of evidence-based research into sustainable business models.

Mitchell Murwira

Mitchell is a results-driven Project Coordinator known for her strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. In her role, she supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring that timelines, resources, and deliverables are effectively managed.

She collaborates closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure smooth project flow. Mitchell thrives in fast-paced environments where precision and accountability are essential.
